We’re looking to add Entry Level Sales Support / Pricing coordinators to the team at our Cerritos office. This position involves responding to inbound requests by new and existing clients to learn the cost benefits of working with OEC Group. As a freight forwarding firm, we provide a range of services that include shipping, customs brokerage, trucking, rail and air. And it’s our inside sales support people that present the value of what we do for customers by putting together pricing quotes. Our inside sales support roles are perfect for a candidate with Excel and data entry experience who want to lay the foundation of an exciting career! Paid training is provided!

About the Position

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Daily communication with the carriers regarding contract term maintenance, rate negotiation, space protection and any type of equipment dispute in general.
  • Update the internal system of new/updated rates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Representatives for RFQ.
  • Assist in resolving any billing, chassis, equipment disputes that arise from the Operations Department or Overseas offices.
  • Review shipment history and research the customer's needs before signing any new contracts.
  • Managing sales developments with coordination of outside salespersons.
  • Maintain and expand client relations through customer service efforts.
  • Negotiating and preparing international rate quotations with clients.
  • Reporting to local managers with updates and progress.
  • Account maintenance and communication with overseas offices to ensure international and customer requirements are met

8:30 am – 5:30 pm PST

Qualifications

Knowledge of both Mandarin (verbal) and English languages is preferred.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college and one to three years of related experience.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.  Experience with CargoWise One is a plus.
