Administrative Assistant (Logistics, Import/Export)


OEC Group is currently searching for a motivated and personable individual to support our Executive Team. The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to speak both Mandarin and English, exercise judgment, diplomacy, patience and tact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Making department travel arrangements.
  • Prepare monthly expense report.
  • Plan and coordinate events, as needed.
  • Assist with overseas guests.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks and errands.


  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced office environment, handling various requests and concurrent tasks.
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate follow-through on all assignments.
  • Ability to display discretion with confidential information is a must.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with all levels of management.
  • Excellent attitude and willingness to do even the smallest of tasks.
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Skills
Ability to speak Mandarin and English.  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

After completing a standard 90 day probationary period the employee is granted a full benefits package. This includes:
